Super heroes party at church tomorrow night, Pippa is going as Harry Potter. Much excitement in our house today.

He brought his own step stool and insisted on helping. Anything to speed up dinner!

I'm taking advantage of mum being in town and learning how to knit (finally). This is my first item, a beanie hat for Tasha... More photos to follow once it's complete.

Fast becoming a family tradition, Friday night chicken kebabs on the barbecue.

Pippa finally has two wobbly teeth (well strictly one has been wobbling since the week before her seventh birthday!). Anyhow it seems that the new tooth is in a hurry to come through, looking a bit like a shark at the moment...

Brynn loves to feed himself these days, he also has a good food sharing relationship with the dog, so much so that we've cut the dog's food rations...

Since Brynn has decided to have a mega sleep today, the girls are enjoying a bit of pre gymnastics swimming. What a lovely place for them to grow up!

She went to bed one very excited almost 7 year old.

Look what arrived in the post today. Granny and Bertie boy have been in Kruger, and Grandma has been in Alaska. The kids love all the animal pictures, thank you.

The girls wanted to make Paul his favourite breakfast for fathers day, here's what they decided on. Along with some bacon, scrambled eggs and sliced avocado. Yum...

The gorgeous results of a Groupon voucher I bought a while ago. I think the girls did a great job! And here's how I found the girls after I'd finished cleaning up after lunch, all ready for homeschooling. I have awesome daughters.

Fun at Westgate mall today. There's loads going on because it's the local school holidays.

Very peaceful moment here. Brynn just woke up from a two and a half hour nap. Pippa is having guitar lessons with Leny and Tasha is learning Mandarin with Laoshi Ding. I even managed a half hour nap myself, now I'm feeling refreshed and ready for a swim once all the lessons are over.

Loving the homeschooling 'classical music appreciation' time. Today it's Mozarts Allegro vivace horn concerto.

Awesome to see our church on the heritage map at the city gallery today. They've revamped the whole exhibit, it's even more brilliant thanks it was. Very interactive and engaging. Perfect for teaching about 'our island home' in line with the year 2 British curriculum.

Happy sisters loom banding together. Definitely the latest craze in our house. The plaster on Pippa's chin is from a water play injury on the balcony yesterday afternoon.just a bit of glue needed at the hospital to stick the wound together.

We had a lovely three days in Melaka. We walked and saw sights, we ate and drank, and we swam. Much fun was had by all. Most interesting was seeing how much the place has changed in the eight years since we were last there. It's really cleaned up and modernised. The boat trip on the last morning showed us just how much growth and building is going on. Well done Melaka!
